OUT NOW: review of the exhibition “A Shroud Woven of Solar Threads” by Ala Roushan and Charles Stankievech

Very grateful to the wonderful colleagues at Portal Kunstgeschichte for publishing my exhibition review so swiftly, given that it is a rather short exhibition period: Ala Roushan’s and Charles Stankievech’s “A Shroud Woven of Solar Threads” is an impressive display of artistic research and “prospective archaeology”, spanning solar threads between a 3000 years old pre-Persian Mitra cult and the solar geoengineering imaginaries of a future invading our present. The exhibition is curated by Juliet Kothe (HOUSE, Berlin) and (Autotelic Foundation, London).

Please share or, even better, show up to the performance “A Shadow Takes No Room in Space” by Ala and Charles taking place on October 14 in the exhibition (free entry).
