As celebrated at our “Center Art as Forum concluding seminar” last Friday, the center’s collected volume on “Infrastructure Aestethics”, ed. by Solveig Daugaard, Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt and Frederik Tygstrup, is now available – open access!
Besides my take on “Critical Zone(s) Observatories: Modelling infrastructures of climate science in the art museum”, the volume presents a variety of investigations into “the infrastructural relations” that shape artworks and artistic production, thus refocussing research on “the conditions of […] production, distribution, and reception” of art.
