I am *cosmically* happy to announce that my entry on “Cosmic rays” (in sound art) has now been published as part of the Encyclopedia of the Anthropocene (ed. Nathanaël Wallenhorst and Christoph Wulf) in its volume on “Sound,” edited by Holger Schulze (Berlin: Springer Nature, 2026), to whom I‘m grateful for the kind invitation to participate in this important series – as I am indebted to the wonderful artists I’ve been in touch with to discuss their art–science endeavors in muon (cosmic rays secondary particles) detection and sonic display: Christian Skjødt Hasselstrøm, Rasa Smite & Raitis Smits, and the LAb[au] laboratory for art and urbanism.
