Today we received the sad news of Bruno Latour’s passing. I was thinking a lot recently about our Critical Zones seminar sessions with Bruno in Karlsruhe. Those memories are today somewhat connected to a wonderful feeling of having learned and being challenged so much and, now, of having lost a person very important to not only my past, but to so many others – and to the future of our planet and its terrestrial inhabitants.
